EverWhite Donates and Installs New Whiteboards at Hope House
EverWhite, a manufacturer of whiteboards and visual communications products, helps a local community center by donating and installing new whiteboards.
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., July 1, 2010—Hope House of Milwaukee—a local community center supporting homeless children and adults—displayed a need for adequate whiteboards to serve the Adult and Teen Education program. EverWhite, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of visual communications products, donated new whiteboards to Hope House of Milwaukee, and assembled a team of five to install the new whiteboards in Hope House’s facility. These renovations were made just in time for the start of a new teen program at Hope House.
According to Patrick Schrank, youth services supervisor of Hope House "The donation of whiteboards has made it so much brighter and functional. Staff love them and it lets students in GED classes and teens attending programming know that people value their space and therefore their participation in their own betterment."
EverWhite's team initiated the transformation of the room by installing two EverEZ dry erase resurfacing panels over the room's old chalkboards. EverWhite dry erase resurfacing panels feature a sturdy whiteboard surface and a factory-applied adhesive backing. They are installed over old chalkboards or whiteboards, instantly them into new whiteboards.
Rich Buss, President of EverWhite, was proud to be a part of the EverWhite installation team. According to Buss, "It was a great opportunity to give back to the community. It's amazing how one little transformation can make such a big difference."
EverWhite supports many charitable organizations including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Rescue Mission and the American Heart Association.
